The Huckleberry Scarf-A Furls Crochet Along
I’m starting 2019 with something huge! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting this month’s crochet along with Furls Crochet! For the next four weeks we will be working up the beautiful Huckleberry Scarf!
The Huckleberry Scarf was made with the amazing new Color Made Easy yarn from Lionbrand. I had the idea for a new triangle scarf a few months after designing my first one. I wanted to this one to be a little bit edgier than the first because I knew it was gonna be named after my second born and he is a bit of a wild child. Then when I saw Color Made Easy came in a color named Huckleberry it felt like fate! My son’s middle name is Huckleberry so the color way was absolutely perfect!
This yarn works up beautifully using my furls size K crochet hook. It’s a bulky weight yarn that works up quickly and creates the most amazing textures. The best thing about this scarf is that you can also make it with worsted weight yarn and it’s totally customizable. You can add as many extra rows as you would like to create the size that is perfect for you.
Here is our Huckleberry Scarf CAL schedule:
Week 1 January 8th: Gather your supplies
Week 2 January 15th: Part One
