The Elio Rug- Free Crochet Pattern

The Elio Rug- Free Crochet Pattern

The Elio Rug is sure to bring some sunshine into your home. This crochet rug pattern features a unique half circle design and uses tapestry crochet technique. It is worked with double stranded yarn to create a thick and sturdy rug that will be enjoyed for years to come. Find the free pattern below, grab the PDF in my shop or treat yourself to the complete kit from Lion Brand Yarn.

Any one else love a nice quick project during the Summer? I know I do. When planning out my schedule this Summer I knew I wanted to create something fun and a little whimsical . I’ve always loved half circle rugs and wanted to see if I could create one with a giant sun inside of it. Thus, the Elio Rug was born.

Using Lion Brand Yarn’s 24/7 cotton held double, the Elio works up quickly and creates a beautiful sturdy rug. It’s perfect for using as a doormat, under a desk, by the kitchen sink or even in your kids bedroom. Plus the two color combinations are endless since there are so many gorgeous colors to choose from.

Check out the versions my testers made below and make sure to show them some love over on Instagram. Didn’t they do a fantastic job?
