What could be better than a super cozy extra long infinity scarf to keep you warm this winter? The Ashby Infinity is the perfect accessory to add to your winter wardrobe. Scroll down for the free pattern or grab an ad-free PDF in my shop.
I may have a slight obsession with the block stitch. Ever since making The Ashby Cowl in December I’ve been wanting to see the block stitch worked up in everything. I had a few extra skeins of the Red Heart Amore yarn and knew I would love a giant infinity scarf for those cold and windy days here in the bay. The block stitch is so addicting! It has quickly become one of my favorite stitches because it works up fast and gives amazing texture.
The Ashby Infinity is the big sister to the The Ashby Cowl. Just add a few (okay a lot!) more rows and you’ll be wrapping yourself up in warmth before you know it! The best thing about these patterns is that you can use just about any worsted weight yarn you’d like. Feel free to play around with different colors and fibers to suit your needs.
I’ve also made a fun video tutorial that includes instructions for both the Ashby cowl and infinity. I walk you through each step and show you exactly how to create those beautiful block stitches. Find the video and full written pattern below.
