Annie's Kits Review

Find your inner creative with some fun crafty kits from Annie’s! Being safe at home can get a little boring, so spice things up and get your creative juices flowing. They have something for everyone.

My friends over at Annie’s sent me over a few of their kits to try out, including their brand new kit the Farmhouse Style kits. My family and I were super excited to try out some new crafts while spending more time at home.

We’ve gotten the Creative Girls kits before and both my kids get so excited when they show up on our door step. This time we tried out the Young Woodworker’s kit. It was perfect that the kit came with two airplanes to create so both my son and daughter got to make one.

Assembling the planes required a bit of help from me and my husband, but they handled the painting and decorating all on their own. They now have them proudly displayed on their dresser in their room.

I love that the kits come with just about everything you need and any extra supplies are things I generally have on hand already. The little instruction book is filled with helpful tips and high quality photos so you can easily follow along. Here’s some photos of my kiddos hard at work as well as their finished project.

I spend most of my time crocheting or sewing, but I love all sorts of creative arts. I was thrilled to be able to try out a few of Annie’s kits for adults. The Farmhouse Style kit is great for those wanting to add some beautiful on trend décor to their home. I was so happy when my kit showed up and it was this beautiful Talulah Wreath.

The assembly process was pretty easy. The kit came with pre punched felt pieces. All I needed to do was snip the leaves out and then I was ready to start assembling. The instructions were very clear and I already had the hot glue gun and glue sticks needed to complete this project. Once I glued and folded all the leaves it came together quickly. It was so nice to take a break from my regular crafting and create something beautiful to display in my home.

One of the best things about the Farmhouse Style kit is that everyone gets the same kit each month. This makes it perfect for crafting with friends and family. I haven’t been able to visit my sisters this year, but we video chat often. One of the things we do when we are together is craft. With the Farmhouse Style kit we could all sign up and then make the same project while we video chat!

The Creative Women’s Kit and The Creative Quilter’s Fabric Club are two other amazing kits from Annie’s. Both kits let me explore some new skills and medium. I had never tried needle felting before receiving this Creative Women’s Kit and while I may need some more practice, I really enjoyed learning something new.

I love that the kit included everything I needed, including the felting needles. The instructions were very clear and showed exactly what needed to be done. I think I should have used a bit less brown for the stem section on them, but they still look pretty cute.

Annie’s Creative Quilter’s Fabric Club is perfect for those who love sewing. You’ll definitely want to have plenty of sewing supplies on hand if you decide to get this kit. Each month you’ll receive a special selection of high quality fabrics that you can use for quilts or to create the unique projects included in the kit. It’s a great way to grow your fabric stash or try a new sewing project. I’m saving my fabric for some special projects I have planned for Holiday gifts.
