Annie's Farm House Style Kits Review

Annie's Farm House Style Kits Review

You are never too old for arts and crafts. Annie’s Farmhouse Style Kits make it easy to take some time for yourself and get crafty.

My friends over at Annie’s sent me over a few of their new Farmhouse Style kits to try this month. When doing creative things is your full time job, it can be hard to set aside crafting time just for yourself. Luckily, Annie’s makes it super easy. When you sign up for one of their kit clubs you’ll get a fun new project to try each month. It takes the guess work out of trying to find new and on trend craft project.

This month I was able to try out two of their Farmhouse Style kits; The Kind Tote and Bangle and the Thankful Sign. Both kits came with everything I needed and were so much fun to create.

First up was The Kind Tote. This was a super quick and easy project that can easily be done if you only have a half hour or so to get some crafting in. The iron on letters took a bit of pressure to get them to stick, but the end result was great! Make sure to start on a low heat setting and turn up the heat slowly. Part of mine got a bit too hot and ended up sticking a bit to my ironing board…oops! It still looks amazing though. The bangle was really easy to make and the tassel worked up quickly. It’s perfect for carrying keys and doesn’t get easily lost in the tote.

Next up was the Thankful Sign. This one was my favorite because I was able to learn something new. I’d always wondered how to paint plaid and with this kit, you can learn how too. This one took a bit longer to make since you have to put painters tape down, paint and then let each coat dry. The time is totally worth it though because the end result is stunning.

The kit comes with a vinyl saying that is rubbed on to the little white square for the center. Make sure to go slow and check as you go to make sure the vinyl is sticking. It was so fun to see it all come together and now I have the perfect décor for the upcoming holidays.

I had some fun creating a few timelapse videos of the process of making the Thankful Sign kit. You can check them out on my TikTok account or just click the video below.

These new kits are popular and tend to sell out quick, so if you want to try them out make sure to snag one at the link below.
