The weather is cooling down here in the Bay Area and it has me reaching for all my winter wearables. One of my favorite winter accessories are scarves. Give me all the cozy, soft makes this time of year.
I love wide scarves the best so when designing the Briggs, I knew it needed to be extra wide so it could be worn as a scarf, shawl or wrap. It’s the ultimate go to winter wearable. It looks great no matter which way you choose to wear it and works well as an added layer on cooler days or to bundle up with your favorite jacket when those super low temps hit.
This is the first time I’ve used LB Collection Baby Alpaca and I can tell you right now…it won’t be the last. This yarn is a new favorite and I’m already dreaming up some new designs to use with it. It’s a weight 3 light weight yarn and comes in the most gorgeous neutrals.
Pairing this yarn with the simple woven stitch was a match made in heaven. I love the simplicity of the stitches and they really make this yarn shine. It’s perfect for beginner to intermediate knitters and makes a great relaxing project. Keep scrolling for the free pattern or check out the full video tutorial below.
